Job description :
This job opportunity offers high-level technical challenges. As an application specialist, you will conduct personalized and complete customer trainings (3-4 days) oriented towards the effective use of the PolyWorks software within the design, production, and quality control processes. You will provide advanced demonstrations of the software based on the specific needs of potential clients. You will also provide technical support to PolyWorks users. Furthermore, you will be asked to identify and communicate customer needs to the development team.
The desired profile for applicants is as follows:
Requirements :
- Hold a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a technical degree with several years of experience.
- Have experience with CAD/CAM and/or metrology software, an asset.
- Be available for traveling in America, Europe and Asia.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate a desire to understand and satisfy customers' needs.

APPLICATION ENGINEER IN CHINA
We are looking for a full-time Application Engineer. Under the supervision of the General Manager and Head Office coordinator, he/she will provide technical support to customers and potential ones. He/she will also provide advanced demonstrations of the software based on the specific needs of potential leads, demonstrating SOFTWARE at trade shows. As an application engineer, you will conduct personalized and complete customer trainings oriented towards the effective use of the software within the design, production, and quality control processes. The office language is Chinese/English; consequently, fluency in both written and spoken is very important.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Good oral and written English
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong computer skills for the following software: Word, Excel, Internet, E-mail.
- Good ability for concise reporting
- Good capacity to focus on priorities and organize work to deliver on time
- Commitment to assure quality and accuracy
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate a desire to understand and satisfy customers' needs
- Hold a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a technical degree with several years of experience.
