InnovMetric Headquarters
The headquarters of InnovMetric Software are located in Quebec City, Canada. The facility regroups the PolyWorks software development team and R&D resources, as well as the administration and marketing departments.
The technical support and training resources are located throughout the Quebec City headquarters, InnovMetric subsidiaries, and various PolyWorks support partner offices worldwide.
InnovMetric Subsidiaries
InnovMetric has subsidiaries in the United States (PolyWorks USA), China (PolyWorks Shanghai), and India (PolyWorks India).
These offices are responsible primarily for providing training and technical support to local PolyWorks users, distributors, and partners.
PolyWorks Support Partners
In addition to its subsidiaries offices, InnovMetric has signed software support agreements with various PolyWorks Support Partners in strategic geographic markets.
These organizations are “hardware neutral”, as they cannot sell any 3D digitizer equipment (by contract with InnovMetric).
Their role is to provide technical support and training services to local PolyWorks users.
These partners also offer pre-sales and post-sales assistance to local PolyWorks distributors.
PolyWorks Distributors
Sales of the PolyWorks software are performed by the PolyWorks distributors.
- Master Distributors are the only ones allowed to resell PolyWorks licenses on a "stand-alone" basis (not bundled to any 3D digitizer). They are also allowed to resell PolyWorks bundled with a 3D digitizer.
- Bundled Resellers are distributors who sell the PolyWorks software suite bundled with a 3D digitizer.
Some distributors will offer direct technical support to end-users, while others will rely on InnovMetric and/or on a PolyWorks support partner to perform the software support.
