Photogrammetry is the practice of determining the geometric properties of objects from photographic images. Photogrammetry can be used to measure a set of specific points by putting simple or coded reflective targets on an object’s surface, putting known reference artifacts in the 3D scene, and using digital cameras and photogrammetry software to extract the centers of reflective targets.
