Leverage the use of multiple coordinate systems in inspection projects

Coordinate systems of different types, whether Cartesian, cylindrical, and even spherical are used to define origins.  In PolyWorks|Inspector™, they can either be imported along with CAD models or created based on inspection needs. Although simplistic, wisely switching from one coordinate system to another can expand capabilities when importing CAD and measurement objects from files but also when reporting dimensions to inspect.

In this 15-minute webinar, our technical expert will demonstrate how to use CAD coordinate systems in order to efficiently locate objects, imported from files, with respect to one another in your projects. Also, learn how to report dimensions using coordinate systems defined in drawings in order to obtain the desired inspection results. What‘s more, discover how defining additional coordinate systems of different types can replace the need for elaborate feature constructions.
