InnovMetric launches PolyWorks Japan to expand its universal 3D metrology software sales in Japan

InnovMetric Software Inc. is proud to announce that it has launched PolyWorks Japan KK. This new subsidiary, which started conducting its operations on July 1, 2013, is located in the Minato ward, in Tokyo, Japan.

Japanese customers have been early adopters of the PolyWorks® point cloud 3D metrology software solution and have significantly contributed to its development by providing InnovMetric with valuable input on their technical requirements. Major industrial manufacturing organizations that currently use PolyWorks in Japan include automotive OEMs, such as Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Daihatsu, as well as automotive tool and part suppliers, such as Aisin, G-TEKT, TS Tech, and Futaba.

By incorporating PolyWorks Japan, InnovMetric is building a strong technical team with two key objectives:

  • To promote the outstanding capabilities of PolyWorks, the universal 3D metrology software platform
  • To support the sales efforts of its Japanese 3D metrology hardware partners and provide technical support and training services to their customers

PolyWorks Japan also provides high-end services to PolyWorks customers, such as metrology process consulting and software customization through macro programming.
